Zachary M Tersak (Zach) died unexpectedly on June 28, 2025 at the age of 36 in Morgantown, WV. He was born in Lancaster, PA on September 19, 1988.
Zach was a graduate of Hempfield High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduation. He was a U.S. Army combat veteran, serving in the Afghanistan War
with the 32nd Infantry Regiment from 2011 through 2012. He was awarded a U.S. Army commendation medal, a NATO combat medal, and several other campaign
medals and service ribbons.
Zach worked in the solar panel industry and held several jobs as a general laborer and in construction. He had a sharp wit and great sense of humor.
Zach will be lovingly missed by his Mom, Joy Boas and her husband Richard; his father, Stephan Tersak; his grandmother, Barbara Kreider; his aunt, Tina Lafferty, and
her husband Drew, his uncle Jody Kreider, his uncle Neal Kreider and his companion Loretta Mowrer; his four step-siblings, Tiffany Tersak, Katie Boas, and
her husband, Shea Hartman, Kelly Boas, and Richard Boas, III, and his wife, Nicole.
He also leaves behind four cousins; Noah, Cecil, Otis, and Finnian, and two nephews; Odin and Regan. Zach was predeceased by his grandfather Carl Kreider
and his stepsister Stephanie Tersak.
Zachary is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all his family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and/or NAMI Lancaster County, PA .
A private gathering in remembrance of Zachary will be held at the family's convenience.
