He was also survived by the love of his life, Sophia Rodney, of Morgantown, & his second family, Kim Rodney of Morgantown, Michelle Rodney & her boyfriend Jason of Morgantown, Dara Rodney of Morgantown, & his beloved cat, Lilly.

Zachary was a force in this world. From the time he was little, he knew what he wanted, and he gave everything that he had -ALWAYS- to make it happen. As a little boy he LOVED construction and learned absolutely everything he could about it. He could tell you all about excavators, front loaders, backhoe front loaders, booms, and all the rest. In his early teens, throughout the rest of his life, he had an intense love of skateboarding. Oh, the boards he’s gone through! There were so many scrapes, bruises, sprains, shoes with holes in the side, and smelly, sweaty clothes. Our boy gave 110% and it showed because he always reached his goal. Board slides, kick flips, ollies, grinds, pop shove it, nose grinds, he had them all and video to prove it. It was always a joy to watch him skate.

Lacrosse was another love. He spent so much time in Masontown, WV, bouncing that lacrosse ball against that block wall to practice throwing and catching. It was fun to watch him put his heart and soul into the sport which often got him into the penalty box! As a young adult he fell in love with drift cars & Subarus. He spent an enormous amount of time rebuilding his 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport from the ground up, swapping a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX for the engine and drivetrain. He learned the skills that he needed to do that as he went. Completely in line with who Zac was. Sadly, our baby did not get to complete that project.

If you were asked to share words to describe Zac Seese, you might hear, determined, a great friend, great brother, loving boyfriend, and loving son. You may also hear that he was kind, unforgettable, and friendly. People have said that he stood out at his job, and they looked forward to seeing him there. He was shift manager at the Ranch Express Lube in Sabraton and worked hard every day.

We would love to ask if you are a fellow gearhead and have also been rebuilding your car. Please attend the gathering in your project car. Zac would certainly be smiling down on us all that day with his incredible smile. His smile, his light, his love will be missed by so many for the rest of our days.

In honor of our sweet Zac, please never take life for granted. Give 110% and go after what you want, and tell those closest to you that you love them. Hug your loved ones often because you never know when their tomorrow may not come.

Zac’s gathering for friends and family will be held at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 2 PM until the time of services at 4 PM, with Pastor Kenny Basnett officiating. The family’s request for cremation will be honored, and a private inurnment will take place at a later date.
