Willis Lee "Woody" Keener,77, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, with his loving wife by his side, at Mon Health Medical Center. The son of the late Jesse and Mable Keener he was born November 14, 1940 in Morgantown. Woody was the owner and operator of Keener's Service Station for 45 years and also the owner of Keener's Feed and Supply. He had also worked at Sharon Steel in Fairmont. Woody is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Keener; a son, Michael Keener, Sr. and his wife, Billie; a grandson, Michael Keener, Jr. and his companion Angie Sisler and her children; two great grandchildren: Summer Leigh Keener and Kasey Lee Keener; a brother, Harold E. Keener and his wife, Ann of State College, PA. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters in law: Kenneth and Betty McBee, Eddie and Mabel Swisher, Harry and Nancy Swisher, Linda and Michael Christy, Chuck and Pat Swisher, and Janice Keener; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Myranda Leigh Keener; and a brother, Robert Keener. Family and friends will be received at Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm and again on Saturday, from 10am until the 11am funeral service with Pastor Jeffery Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
