William H. "Bill" Trout , 83, of Westover went to be with his Lord and beloved wife on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 28, 1927 in Maidsville, the son of the late Henry and Pearl Trout. He was a graduate of University High School in 1945. He married his high school love, Leanna "Ann" Bolyard on December 24. 1945. Bill served in the US Navy during World War II. He was employed by Consolidation Coal for 44 years with most of his time at the Humphrey Preparation Plant in Maidsville. He loved to hunt and looked forward to his fishing trips to Canada each year. Bill dearly touched the lives of several people. All who knew him, loved him and cherished his friendship. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather and was very much loved by his family. Bill is survived by his three daughters and sons in law; Pixie and Ed Koon, Pam and Jim Bryan of Morgantown and Rhonda and Rob Dodson of Weirton, WV. One son, Henry Trout and partner Rick Greathouse of San Francisco, Ca. Six grandchildren Michelle Koon, Leanna Horner, Jimmy and Johnny Bryan and Grace and Grahm Dodson. He is also survived by three brothers in law Melvin "Dump" and Sonni Bolyard, Virgil Davis, and John Stevens. Two sisters in law Barbara "Squeak" and Fred McCoy and Betty Johnson. 9 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife Ann; four sisters Norma "Maxine" Davis, Eleanor Simpson Brinegar, Doris Stevens and Virginia Trout. Two brothers Warren "Bud" Trout and Everett Trout. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, December 6, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9pm, and on Tuesday from 10am until the time of services at 11am with Rev. John Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery Marquess, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to Hospice Care 3363 University Ave. Morgantown, WV 26505 or to Stepping Stones 400 Mylan Park, Morgantown, WV 26501
