William R. Tennant

William R. "Bill" Tennant, 72, of Pursglove, WV, passed away on Sunday April 19, 2020 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 15, 1947 in Morgantown, the son of the late William D. and Lorraine Dawson Tennant of Morgantown. Bill retired from the United Mine Workers Association. He is survived by his lifelong partner Katheryn "Kit" L. Knisell; five step-children Allen Knisell, Marsha Knisell, Beverly Knisell, Angela Knisell and Melanie Brown; 10 step-grandchildren and several great step-grandchildren. Bill loved to spend his time boating at his lake house, was a huge sports fan, and an avid Mountaineer fan. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home is assisting the family with private services. Bill will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
