William Sanders

William Shelby "Tink" Sanders, 78, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at The Madison Center. He was born October 10, 1936 to the late Charles and Elizabeth Wolfe Sanders. He enjoyed gardening and cutting grass. He is survived by his sister Alice "Sissy" Everson; brothers, Paul, Leo and wife June, Luther and wife Gloria, Wayne and wife Shirley, and Keith and wife Gaylene. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, Tink was preceded in death by two sisters; Gladys Steele and Ida Mae Biondi; three brothers, Elden, Donald, and Francis Sanders; two brothers-in-law, Jim Steele and Cog Biondi. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Ruby Memorial 8th floor, The Madison Center, and Hospice. Family and friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday December 22 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday December 23 from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Pastor Karen Tate officiating. Burial will follow at the Dunn Cemetery.
