William A. Castelli, 90, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at his home
William was born July 16, 1928, in Brooklyn, NY.
William was a United States Army Veteran and a retired coal miner for Pursglove 15 mine. He was a devoted Christian and attended several churches in the Morgantown area. He was a fun-loving father and grandfather. He was always smiling; he never seemed to have a bad day. He loved the outdoors especially… and loved spending time with his family.
William is survived by his loving wife, of 65 years, Toni Castelli; a daughter, Lisa Castelli and her companion, Tom Hart; a son, Eric Castelli; a daughter-in-law Darlene Castelli; grandchildren: Brandon Beckner and his wife, Elizabeth, Holly Beckner and her companion, Christian Benson, Andrew Castelli, and Alexis Castelli; and a great granddaughter, Savannah Benson; and several other loving family members.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 12 noon until the 1:30 pm memorial service with Pastor Junius Lewis officiating. Honoring William’s wishes, cremation services were handled by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
