Wayne Howard Lee

Wayne Howard Lee, 77, of Cassville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday December 19, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 14, 1936 in Manhiem, WV a son of the late Arthur Guy and Callie Ercel Heaton Lee. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army from 1954-1957. Wayne was employed by WVU until 1962 when he went to work for CONSOL. He retired from CONSOL as a mine safety supervisor in 1982. He loved to hunt and watch deer in his yard. He also enjoyed John Wayne movies. Wayne was a father figure to many and was Pap' to everyone who knew him. His wife, daughter, and grandchildren were the love of his life. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Isabelle Koloff Lee; daughter Vicki Lee Faust Blosser; #1 grandson Nathaniel C. Faust; loving granddaughters Heaven Blosser, Emmileigh Blosser all of Cassville, WV two sisters Beatrice Kremer, Theresa Balasko both of Morgantown; brothers Ronald Lee of Wheeling, WV and Gary Romec of Brunswick, GA. In addition to his parents Wayne was preceded in death by an infant grandson Shawn Wayne Faust; sisters Phyllis Shiel, Barbara Mayfield; brother Arthur Joe Lee; father and mother-in-law Alex and Catherine Koloff; and brothers-in-law Louie Koloff and Alex Koloff Jr. The family would like thank the staff of Morgantown Hospice, especially nurse Karen, and the doctors and staff at Ruby Memorial Hospital and Mon General Hospital for all of their care and support. Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday December 21, 2013 from 4-8:30pm and again on Sunday from 1pm until the time of funeral services at 2pm with Pastors Willard Rowan, Brian Kiehl, and Fred Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery with military rites conducted by Westover VFW Post 9916 and WVANG Honor Guard, Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Wayne's memory to Morgantown Hospice 1063 Maple Dr. Morgantown, WV 26505.
