Wanda Mae Hartman

Wanda Mae Hunt Hartman, 81, of Morgantown, WV, went to her Heavenly Home at 5:58pm on Wednesday August 21, 2013 at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, WV, with her family gathered around her bedside. She was born August 6, 1932 in Pursglove, WV. She was a member of Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle. Wanda was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who cherished spending time with her family. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas. She loved God, her church and had a great love for sports and supported her favorite teams, the Pirates, Steelers and the Mountaineers. On November, 7, 1947 she married Lonnie Hartman, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are children, Shirley Wagner, Lonnie Hartman and wife Veronica, William Fred' Hartman and wife Misty, Brenda Hartman of Morgantown and Gloria Stout of Mount Morris, PA. She had 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William Berkley and Ida Mae Hunt and eight siblings. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday August 23, 2013 from 3pm until 8:30pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of services at 11am. Pastor Fred Tomlinson, Pastor John Wagner, her grandson, and Pastor John Jackson will officiate her services. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hills Cemetery. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle 103 School Bus Rd Mount Morris, PA 15349.
