Virginia Lee Radcliff (Jacquez), 85, of Indian Trail, NC, formerly of Morgantown, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Lake Park Nursing Home in Indian Trail, NC. She was born March 28, 1935, in Fairmont, the only daughter of the late Francisco Jacquez and Candelaria Alvarado Jacquez.

Virginia graduated from St. Peter’s Catholic High School in 1954. She married the late Robert E Radcliff (Bob) in November of 1955. They met while roller skating in Fairmont.

Virginia was a stay-at-home mom until her daughters went to college. She was a community leader and involved in her girls’ school activities as the PTA president and school mom for sporting events.

Later when Bob retired as a dairy farmer and owner/operator of Green Valley Dairy Farm, Virginia took a job at Giant Eagle in Morgantown working in the deli. She loved this job, because she could talk to all the customers, many of whom were friends or relatives. Bob and Virginia moved several years ago to North Carolina to be closer to their family.

Virginia enjoyed watching movies, music, socializing, and spending time with her granddaughters.

She is survived by her daughters Rhonda Radcliff and husband Robert Mullenger of Mountain View, CA, Rita Radcliff-Deppe and husband Brian Deppe of Weddington, NC; beloved granddaughters Stella Radcliff Mullenger, Morgan Candela Deppe; a brother, Samuel Jacquez, Canton OH, a sister-in-law, Barbara Fullmer of Fort Worth, TX, and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bob, three brothers Morris, Henry and Herman Jacquez.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12pm noon until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Fr. Brian Crenwelge officiating. Virginia will be laid to rest, beside her husband, at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
