Virginia Lee Faulknier

Virginia "Jenny" Lee Faulknier, 61 of Morgantown passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at her home with her beloved family by her side. Virginia was born in Welch, WV on September 2, 1949, the daughter of the late Louise Ellen Cooke Richardson and the late Blaine Bernard Richardson. Virginia graduated from University High School and most recently worked at Sterling Faucet as an Extruder Attendant until its closing. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed quilting, traveling and spending time with her family, especially being an amazing Mammaw to her granddaughter Sophia. She is survived by her lifelong love and husband of 44 years, Russell Paul Faulknier of Morgantown, her daughters, Amy Beth Faulknier of Greensboro, NC and Summer Lei Faulknier of Morgantown, her granddaughter and pride and joy Sophia Virginia Faulknier of Greensboro, NC; her sisters Norma Brower of Grandview, MO and Sharon Beerbower of Glade Farms, WV and her brother Douglas "Jack" Richardson of Greenville, TX. She was preceded in death not only by her parents, but by sisters Trisha Richardson, Ronda Richardson and Shirley Mitchell and her brother Blaine "Buddy" Richardson. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and again Monday from 11am until the time of services at 1pm with Rev. Edward Ghuste officiating. Burial will follow in the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
