Victor Joseph Zanotti

Victor Joseph Zanotti, 44, of Rockwall, Texas and formerly of Morgantown, West Virginia passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at his home. He was born April 28, 1970 to Victor W. and Cecelia Barrett Zanotti of Morgantown, WV. Victor graduated from Morgantown High School in 1988 and was very active with the MHS basketball team and was a drummer in the marching band. He attended West Virginia University and worked in the restaurant/entertainment industry in West Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Nevada, and Texas. At the time of his death, Victor was the Director of Operations at Shenaniganz in Rockwall, Texas where he had worked for the past 6 years. Victor was extremely close to the owners, Parker Coddington, Keegan and Justin Ripp, and thought of them as brothers. Victor is survived by the joy and love of his life: his daughter Sydney Rose, 5, and Sydney's mother Heather Zanotti, by his parents Victor and Cecelia Zanotti of Morgantown, WV; two sisters, Kimberly Zanotti Matuga of Morgantown, WV, and Kelli Page (and spouse John Page) of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by his nephew, Dylan Matuga and niece, Jordan Matuga of Morgantown, WV, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. Victor was preceded in death by his grandparents Dominick and June Zanotti, and Roston and Phyllis Barrett, and his nephew Adam Matuga. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the education of Victor's daughter, Sydney.
