Victor Keith Neil Stafford

Victor Keith Neil Stafford, 73, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday morning, August 31, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side.

The son of the late Earl and Evelyn Stafford he was born June 12, 1945 in Morgantown.

Victor was a United States Navy veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Victor retired from the WV Department of Highway as a mechanic and was a member of Point Marion VFW Post 747. He enjoyed spending time with his family, most of all he cherished every moment with his grandchildren.

Victor is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Crystal and Jason Christopher and Tina and Daniel Lowrance all of Morgantown; grandchildren: Emily Christopher, James Christopher, Ethan Lowrance and Marcus Lowrance; two sisters, Nadine Orchard and Patricia Ralston; three brothers: Charles Stafford and wife, Nancy, Terry Stafford, and Rodney Stafford and wife, Wilma; Ralph Carey, Jr. who he raised as a son; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Stafford; and a brother, Randy Stafford.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care and compassion given to Victor.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm and again on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 10am until the 11am funeral service with Pastor Gwen McKinley officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Summers Cemetery.
