Vera Spradlin

September 11, 1925 — October 30, 2014

Vera Spradlin, 89, of the Delmar Community, Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at home surrounded by her family, who had been providing her with care for the past several years. Vera was born in Erie, PA, daughter to the late Peter Frol and Alexandria Paneroff Shumiloff. Vera worked as a store clerk in the local shop in her community for many years and was also a homemaker. Vera is survived by her daughters, Tina Conrad and husband Carl, Debra Lamp and husband Jesse all of Morgantown, Patricia and Bill Gray of Kingwood and Shelia Alvarez of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, James Conrad, Travis Conrad and wife Marleena, Cheri Parrotta and husband Chris, Carl Conrad, II, Mikhail Conrad, Kristan Shumiloff, Tanya Shumiloff, Peter Shumiloff, III, Milinda Gray,Bradley Gray; great grandchildren, Alana and Tyler Conrad, Christian and Nathaniel Morgan, Koby and Gabriella Alvarez, Kaitlyn Westerman, Baylee Uphold, Aydan Wade and Peter Shumiloff, IV; sisters, Stella Shumiloff, Alexandria Katy' Shumiloff both of Booth, Jenny Hibbs of Rivesville, WV and Margaret Lemanowicz of Everettsville, WV. In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by her husband Richard N. Spradlin, one son Peter Shumiloff, II; sisters, Susan and Valentina Shumiloff; brothers, George, Alex, Michael, Charlie, William Lefty' and John Shumiloff and one great grandchild, Sarah Lynn Conrad. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8pm and again on Monday from 10am until time of service at 11am with Rev. Bill Page officiating. Burial will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
