Tyler Brook Smith

Tyler Brook Smith, 25, died on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. "Ty" was born December 22, 1991 in Morgantown, WV to parents Kim (Smith) Stevens and Eric Staddon.

He was a warm, gentle, caring, fun loving, compassionate, funny, life of the party guy that never met a stranger. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, hunting, riding four wheelers, working, cooking, and loved being there for anyone who was in need.

In addition to his parents, Ty is survived by Kim's spouse Mandy Stevens and Eric's spouse Cathy Staddon; sisters, Payton Staddon and Ashley Moore; maternal grandparents Al and Debbie Smith, Connie and Mark Strotman; his paternal grandparents, Alan and Gretchen Staddon, Jim and Anne Ridings; great-grandparents, Nanny Debarr, Ronald Herderick, Doris Brown; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Jason Smith, Jen and Jacob Jackson, Zachary Stevens, Heather and Craig Haran; cousins Samantha, Alex, Cooper and Liam Smith, Leah and Alyssa Jackson, Camden Stevens, Jed and Mackenzie Haran.

Ty's passion for being the friend to be there for anyone, continues after his passing as he was an organ donor for CORE.

Family and Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday, February 10th from 3pm until 7pm and again Saturday, February 11th from 11am until the time of service at Noon with Pastor Dave Hood officiating along with Pastor Scott Whetzel. Cremation services will follow.
