Twila Lorraine Golden White, 68, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday May 12, 2011, after battling cancer. She was born July 30, 1942 in Uniontown, PA, a daughter of Emanuel Stephen Jim' Golden and Beulah Smith Golden, both deceased. Jerry White, her husband, of 40 plus years, preceded Twila in death on January 11, 2002. She worked for Rockwell International, received at bachelor's degree from West Virginia University, worked as an accountant for Consolidated Coal Co. and as an office manager for the Morgantown Valley Scottish Rite. She attended Harner Chapel. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Morgantown Chapter of Eastern Star 35, member of Bethany Shrine No. 2 of White Shrine of Jerusalem, Past Royal Matron of West Virginia Court No. 1, and a member of Clarksburg Court No. 3 Order of Amaranth. She was a Past Grand Royal Matron of the Grand Court, Order of the Amaranth, State of West Virginia. Twila was a member and Past High Priestess of Isis Court No. 1 Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North America (LOSNA). She was a member of Daffy Dolls Unit, Mountaineer Unit, Isis Patrol and Morgantown Club, LOSNA. She was a member of Harmony No. 51 Rebekahs, member of Ladies of the 32 Scottish Rites Masons, member of Star No. 104 Ladies Encampment Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant, member of Wardah Husam No. 53 Daughters of the Nile, and served on the International Rainbow for Girls board. She is survived by her two daughters and their families including five grandchildren; Lynette W. Collins & husband David G. Collins, grandchildren, Jerod William, Ryan David, and Morgan Leah Collins of Conifer, CO; Melanie L. Salkin and her husband Richard M. Salkin, grandchildren Alyssa Lorraine and Adrianna Lynn Salkin of Manchester, MD. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday May 14, 2011 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A service will be conducted by the Morgantown Chapter of Eastern Star 35 at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1pm with Pastor Rick Stackpole officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
