Tony Pirlo

Tony “Tunie” Pirlo 78 of Beulah Road, Morgantown passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1931 at Greer, WV the son of the late Frank and Minnie McVicker Pirlo. Tony was a member of the Grace Bible Church, and a 49 year employee of the Greer Limestone Company. He is survived by his son Larry Pirlo of Morgantown; grandson Steven Pirlo and wife Tammy of Morgantown; granddaughter Monica Fox and husband Darrell of Morgantown; great grandchildren Joey Fox and Carrie Dalton, great great grandchild Paisley Dalton; three brothers Vaughn “Choppy” Pirlo , Fred Pirlo and Louie Pirlo all of Morgantown; two sisters Shirley DiVille of Virginia and Diane Martin of Ohio. He is also survived by his beloved best canine friend Ashes Pirlo”Poochy”. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife Betty Pirlo, a brother Pete Pirlo and two sisters Linda Quince and Jean Sylvester. A special thank you to Mary Mays of TLC Hospice. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, May 17, 2010 from 5-9pm and again Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of services at 1pm with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
