Toni Castelli

Toni Castelli, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

The daughter of the late Xenophant and Antonio Stevens, she was born July 28, 1936, in Morgantown.

Toni loved spending time with her family and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved working outdoors and enjoyed tending to her garden and loved her flowers. Toni was strong-willed and determined to make sure everyone was always well taken care of.

Toni is survived by a daughter, Lisa Castelli and her companion, Tom Hart; a son, Eric Castelli; a daughter-in-law Darlene Castelli; grandchildren: Brandon Beckner and his wife, Elizabeth, Holly Beckner, and her companion, Christian Benson, Andrew Castelli, and Alexis Castelli; and a great-granddaughter, Savannah Benson; and several other loving family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Castelli; three brothers.

Cremation services were handled by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

The family request donations are made in Toni’s memory to Animal Friends of WV 252 Brewer Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Evergreen Nursing Home and J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion given to Toni.
