Tobias Robert Ter Haseborg

Tobias was born on July 7, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Tobi had many challenges in his short life, but with the dedicated help of his family, teachers, aides, bus driver, therapists, doctors, and nurses he grew and learned. Tobi shared his happiness with his beautiful smile that touched the people around him. He loved his family, music, animals, and party beads. Being at school brought him joy. He was determined and always worked hard. He loved playing in the sand and being outdoors. He traveled to Germany several times to see his family and celebrate his birthday. His life was filled with love and happiness.
On March 25, 2021, Tobias passed away unexpectedly. His time with us was (too) short, but during his time he was a blessing to many. He is survived by his mother and father, Elizabeth and Heiko ter Haseborg, and his brother, Jannes ter Haseborg, of Morgantown, WV; his grandparents Robert and Sara Bailey of Ona, WV; his grandparents Ursula and Thomas Splett of Bremen, Germany; his grandparents Ephard ter Haseborg and Christine Triffo of Feldkirchen-Westerham, Germany; his aunt and uncle Kelly and Nathanael Bailey of Pittsburgh, PA; his aunt and uncle Inga ter Haseborg and Nils Brinkert of Ludwigsburg, Germany; his aunt and uncle Antje ter Haseborg and Philipp Muntu of Gifhorn, Germany; his aunt Lisa ter Haseborg of Bremen, Germany; his cousins Ada, Nell, and Ola Brinkert; and his cousins Jonah and Thomas Bailey. Tobias will be remembered and loved forever.
A drive-by celebration of Tobias’ life will be held at Chestnut Ridge Church, 2223 Cheat Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508 on Saturday, April 10, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. All are welcome. Please contact the church with any questions at (304) 594-0548.
