Thomas E. Kelley,

89, of Morgantown, passed away June 9th surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 12, 1929 to the late Edward and Lenora Kelley.

Thomas was employed as a mechanic for 17 years and retired as an electrician after 29 years. He worked for WVU and Ted’s Auto Electric.

He was enlisted into the United States Marine Corp and served from 1946 until his honorable discharge as corporal in 1948.

Thomas is survived by his four children, sons, Bill and Imogene Kelley and Thomas P. Kelley; daughters, Janet Kelley and Sherry Erwin; eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his wife Betty Kelley of 38 years and his first wife, Evelyn Ruth Kelley of 29 years; and brother, Edward Kelley Jr.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his WV Caring hospice nurses, Carrie Buzzo, Erica Toliver, Christine Eddy; social workers Trudy Kelley-Chandler and Amanda Gyorko Pocratsky, and Chaplain Kathleen Kennedy.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday, from 4pm to 8pm and again on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 10am until the 11am funeral service. Burial with full military honors will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
