Thelma V. Robinson

As the sun rose on Thursday morning January 8, 2015, Thelma V. Robinson, 80, of Morgantown, rode the sun rays to heaven while surrounded by her family at The Madison. She was born September 4, 1934 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Carl McCabe and Maude Mae Teets McCabe Smith. Thelma enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets, and liked to go out to eat. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Ron Robinson and wife Pam of Morgantown; daughters Anna Robinson and Dennis Wilson of Fairmont, Joyce Bell and husband Mark of Morgantown; grandchildren Ron Robinson Jr. and wife Kelly of Washington, PA, Casey Robinson and wife Danielle of Knoxville, TN, Capen Snyder and friend Mikkel of Morgantown, Autumn Wilson of Fairmont, Brittany Bell, Tyler Bell, Hunter Bell, Dottie Ford, Julie Ford all of Morgantown; great-grandchildren Ava Robinson of Washington, PA, Brysten Bell of Morgantown, Teara, Austin, Courtney, Talley; and great great grandchildren Taya and Jayleen. In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Donald Robert Robinson; infant son Donald Robert Robinson, Jr.; daughter Cathy Ford; brothers Kenny and Don McCabe and wife Nellie; and friend and companion Walter Juristy. Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday January 10, 2015 from 2pm-4pm and 6-8pm and again on Sunday from 12pm noon until the time of funeral services at 1pm with Rev. Vicki D. Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
