Thelma L. Jamison

Thelma G. Liebert Jamison, 99 of Morgantown formerly of Davie, FL passed away on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at the Sundale Nursing Home. She was born July 28, 1911 in Morgantown daughter to the late Gwilliam and Josephine Julie Liebert. Thelma grew up in Morgantown and moved to Florida in 1987 with her daughter. She enjoyed bingo and played golf until age 93. She returned home to Morgantown just two short months to be closer to her family. On April 18, 2011, before leaving Florida the town of Davie presented a proclamation to honor Mrs. Jamison because she wouldn't be present during her 100th birthday. She is survived by her two daughters Julie M. Nunez of Core and Charlene Weber of Masontown, WV; three grandchildren, John McNeel of Hillsboro, WV, Charles McNeel of Masontown, WV and Eric Biser of Grant Town, WV. Also surviving is one great grandchild Hayden McNeel of Hillsboro, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Jamison; five sisters and one brother. Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Thursday May 19, 2011 at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
