Terry Ross Helmick

Terry Ross Helmick, 64 of Morgantown passed away Tuesday May 15, 2012 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born February 10, 1948 in Morgantown son of the late Hayward Justin Helmick and Claris Britton Helmick. Terry worked diligently to raise money for the Monongalia County Sheriff's Association's Shop with a Cop program with more than 30 years of service and looked forward to it every year. Terry was also a huge football fan and proud to cheer on the Mountaineers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Terry is survived by his wife Cindy Helmick; three sons, Heath A. Helmick, Justin T. Helmick and wife Dannielle and Jeremy Helmick and wife Emily all of Morgantown; grandchildren Karen E. Helmick, Logan S. Helmick, Camron R. Helmick and Deklin C. Helmick. Also surviving are two brothers Hayward G. Helmick and wife Carol and Wayne E. Helmick and wife Lydia all of Morgantown. In addition to his parents Terry was preceded in death by one son Jesse Ryan Helmick; paternal grandparents Delas and Lydia Helmick and maternal grandparents Emil and Margaret Britton. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday May 17, from 3-5 and 7-9pm and again on Friday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Delas Stuzen officiating. Burial will follow at the Lawnwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help with expenses to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home 10 South Street Morgantown, WV 26501.
