Terry Lee "Blackie" Murray, 66, of Beulah Road, Morgantown passed away at his residence due to a heart attack. He was born August 1, 1949 to the late Otha "Bill" and Racheal "Rissie" McCrobie-Murray. Blackie was proud to serve his country in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed being around cars and anything that had wheels. He spent his time enjoying the company of his grandsons and loved them very much. He is survived by two brothers Lorn Murray and Art and wife Kay Murray; sister Lucille and Bob Cassino; daughter Trella and spouse Bill Greaser; two grandsons Zebulun and Uryah; several nieces and nephews; and many friends that he made along his way. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Anna Lee Mayfield and brother Sam Murray. A special thanks to Uncle Lorn and Mark Mayfield for all the care and support they gave to Blackie. Blackie was a giving person at heart and continued his legacy by donating his body to the WVU Human Gift Registry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his honor be sent to the Mill Chapel Youth Group, PO Box 78, Reedsville, WV 26547. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held August 6, 2016 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Mill Chapel United Brethren in Christ, 6732 Kingwood Pike with Pastor Marshall Woods officiating.
