Shirley Mable Brewer

Shirley M. ‘Mable’ Brewer, 87, went to the biggest birthday party for Jesus on Christmas Day, December 25, 2022. She was born on August 10, 1935, a daughter of the late Margaret and Charles Brown.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Charlotte Simmons (Herbie Martin); sister Mary Harris sons-in-law Ronnie Crites and Bob Simmons; grandchildren Birdie Brewer (Eddie Hayes), Pam Simmons, Doug Kittle, Mark Kittle, Debby Kittle; her favorite niece Joyce Brown; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Greeting Mable in Heaven are her parents; her daughter Shirley Crites; brothers Chuck and Clarence Brown; and sisters Martha and Margaret Charlton.

The family will receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Chris Gillespie, Sr. officiating. Following the service, Mable will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
