Shelia Nethken

Shelia Michelle Nethken, 40, of Maidsville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 15, 2015. She was born January 17, 1975 in Morgantown a daughter of Michael Shiel and Patricia Nethken Kerns. In addition to her parents she is survived by her step-father David Kerns who helped raise her; two daughters Kaylee Jo Rice, Isabella Wolf; sisters Misty Cress, Courtney Lewis, Shauna Davis, Erin Danko, Kristi Shiel; granddaughter Elllie Mae Hoskins; aunt Della Dalton Uncle Frank Nethken and wife Sue Nethken and 18 cousins. She was preceded in death by two grandmothers, two grandfathers, and five uncles. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all of the rescue workers and volunteers from Marion County and the surrounding area for going above and beyond during this difficult time. The family also wishes to thank family and friends that have shown their support with phone calls, visits, and food since Sheila's passing. Special thanks to Diana & Terri Kerns for helping laying her to rest. Cremation was arranged by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday August 27, 2015 from 5pm until the time of memorial services at 7pm with Pastor Sabrina Haught officiating.
