Sharon Thomas

Sharon Thomas, 54, of Morgantown passed away February 1, 2015. She was born October 4, 1960 to the late Harold and Edith Yantz. She is survived by her companion, Dan Thomas; three children; Shawn G. Thomas and fiancé Lindsey Lutsie, Megan E. (Brad) Thomas-Stevens, and Rachel M. Thomas and son in law affectionately known as Boken; grandchildren, Tyler Jordan, Tessa Campbell, Torie and Avery Thomas, Alana and Aiden Kramer; Jacie, Logan, and Kaitlyn Stevens; Noah and Karson Rodriguez; sister, Karen (Dale) Smith of Wheeling, WV; mother-in-law Patricia Thomas of Morgantown who she was especially close; and many nieces and nephews. She loved music, cooking, crafts, and her summertime weekend yard sales. Sharon was very giving and caring to everyone she met. She loved and lived for her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Rusty Yantz and sister Caroline Pysell; father-in-law John "Papa" Thomas, and two grandchildren Bradleigh Stevens and Brady Rodriguez. Friends and family will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday, February 6 from 5pm until the time of service at 7pm with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Cremation services were performed, honoring Sharon's wishes. In lieu flowers, donations may be sent to the Sharon Thomas Memorial Fund, c/o Huntington Banks, 201 High St. Morgantown, WV 26505.
