Sharon L (Heinze) Semans, 56, of Morgantown, WV slipped away courageously, surrounded by her family, on September 30, 2012. Sharon fought a heroic battle with Multiple Myeloma for the past 8 years and now goes to join her son while he fishes in the big blue sea. Sharon was born in Morgantown on Sept. 9, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Robert L Heinze, Norma Martin of Fairmont, and Nancy Heinze of Morgantown. She was employed with Pace Enterprises, formerly the Executive Director of Senior Monongalians for ten years, and worked for twelve years with RDVIC. She took great pride in serving Monongalia County as a volunteer for numerous agencies and thrived on the joy of life itself. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, William Semans, her daughters Wendy R (Gabe) Schirg, and Cassi L (Jason) Tacket. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas Keith (Nicole) Semans. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Gabriel, Julia, Bailee, Gabriella, Zena, Preston and Peyton and several nieces and nephews who loved and adored her and the lively spirit she brought to everything she did. Sharon was the eldest of eight, Terry Heinze of Morgantown, Kimberly (Mark) Palumbo of Morgantown, Lisa (Larry) Nisperly of Lansing Ohio, Robin Heinze of Morgantown, the late Robert "Bobby" Heinze, Allen Heinze of Morgantown and Landon Heinze of Hilton Head, SC. Friends and family will be received from 3-8 on Monday, October 1st at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 South High Street, Morgantown, WV. Sharon's life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John University Parish, 1481 University Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26505 on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 10:30am.
