Sarah Schrone O'Neal

Sarah Schrone O’Neal, 99, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017, with family by her side at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of the late Ballardean and Mary Schrone she was born November 3, 1917 in New Geneva, PA.

Sarah enjoyed entertaining her friends and family and loved flowers and being outdoors gardening.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita O’Neal Crosby and her husband, Mark; a son, David O’Neal and his wife, Julie; six grandchildren: Bobbi O’Neal Thomas, Johnny Barill, A. David O’Neal, Jackie Barill, Travis O’Neal, and Adrianna O’Neal; three great-grandchildren: Corey Thomas, Jr., Cameron Thomas, Caidyn Thomas; a sister, Idamae Krichbaum; and several loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew D. O’Neal; a grandson, Mark David Crosby; three sisters; and a brother.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to a local charity of your choice.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday, February 6, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm and again Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 10 am until the 11 am service with Pastor Stanley Merrifield officiating. Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery.
