Russell D. Woodford

Russell D. Woodford, 91, of Morgantown, formerly of Oakhill, WV, went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, December 9, 2017. The son of the late Doyle Scott and Roxie Ann Woodford he was born August 24, 1926 in Point Marion, PA. Russell worked most of his life as a diesel mechanic. He is survived by his sister, Eleanor Lee Lawson, of Springfield, VA; a brother, Bob Woodford of Morgantown, and his several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor (Peg) Woodford; and two brothers, Eugene Woodford and D. Scott Woodford. Family will receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins funeral Home Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11am until the 1pm funeral service with Rev.Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery.
