Russell M. Cox

Russell M. Cox, 57, of Morgantown passed away unexpectedly Wednesday June 19, 2013. He was born January 8, 1956 in Morgantown a son of the late Forest and Wilma Cox. Russell worked at the WVU Physical Plant for 40 years as a custodian, which he loved doing. He loved his church family. He attended God's Family Bible Church and Mt. View Pentecostal Church. His greatest enjoyment came from singing gospel songs. He is survived by a son Russell Allen Cox; one brother Nelson Cox and wife Kaye; special niece Tamra Stevens and husband Mark and their children, who he adored, Brenna and Gus Stevens; and many special friends, but especially Jean and Timmy for all that they have done for Russell. Russell will be loved and missed deeply everyday by all of his family and friends. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday June 22, 2013 from 4-9pm and again on Sunday from 1pm until the time of services at 2pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
