Ruby Pearl Murray Dunn Austin

May 6, 1933 — November 30, 2020

Ruby Pearl Murray Dunn Austin, 87, of Point Marion, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2020, at the JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born and raised in West Virginia, daughter to Preston and Allie Lewis Murray.

Ruby was a quiet reserved homemaker who was content to stay close to home. She loved to cross stitch and did not want or need anything fancy.

She is survived by four children; Gary Dunn of Point Marion, PA, Donna Nester, Bill Dunn of Morgantown, and Kathy Brady and husband Mike, of Point Marion, PA; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. Also, surviving is one brother, Thomas Ray Murray of Masontown, WV, and two daughters-in-law, Susan Austin and Kim Austin both of Pennsylvania.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Eugene Dunn, second husband, Wayman Austin; two sons, James Michael Austin and Roger Lee Austin; step-children, Shirley, Charles, and Evelyn Austin and one daughter-in-law, Arizona Dunn.

Due to the increased risk of the COVID pandemic the family has decided to hold all services privately. Ruby will be laid to rest at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. The Rev. David Lee Corob will officiate.
