Ronald Weaver

February 3, 1956 — February 26, 2015

Ron Weaver, 59, of Morgantown, WV, on February 26, released his spirit from his earthly vessel and is laughing, joking, and dancing his way into heaven. Ron was known to many by his various nicknames, "Weave, Big Daddy, Handsome Ron and the Ron Father". He was most affectionately known as "Willis" to his loving wife and partner for forty years, Toni Morris. Toni thought of Ron as her superhero because he had some amazing skills. He had the ability to fix anything, make a friend anywhere and always made her feel safe. Some of his other amazing talents includes master chopper, deviled egg maker, fancy dancer, berry picker, jam maker, tomato grower, and fur people lover. He loved children and his primary goal in life was to assist all who knew him to capture a moment in life with a smile. He loved his family, Deloris Jeanne Ammons Weaver and Richard (Dick) Weaver (both deceased) and his brothers, Richard Weaver (Rich), Randy Weaver (wife, Debbie), and Roger Weaver (wife, Cindy) with so much affection that they were never far from his heart. Ron had many nieces and nephews and his love for them was just as great. Ron was every girls dream husband. He loved to shop, watch movies and sit on the beach for hours. He could cook, do his own laundry and even gave up convincing his wife that she should cook more often. He was a real ladies man too, he was just as comfortable hanging out with his wife and her friends as he was hanging out with his buddies golfing or fishing. Ron was a true lover of the outdoors. He always wanted to be outside and especially riding his motorcycle on country roads for hours. He loved having his wife ride with him even when she constantly complained of the pain on her bottom from the seat, he never stopped asking her to ride. If you ever met Ron you were for sure to have an experience. Whether it was a laugh, a joke at your expense or just a visit, you were in for a good time. In his honor, we ask that you crank up the music, do a little dance and smile, smile, smile. Raising a glass in his memory is entirely appropriate. A celebration of his life will be held March 14, 2015 at the Erickson Alumni Center from 3-5pm and everyone is invited to share a memory or a story. In lieu of flowers and in honor of his loving wife and eternal friend, Ron would like you to help a friend or yourself to stop smoking and use the money you save to adopt a fur baby. Any donation to any animal rescue agency in his name will be greatly appreciated. One of Ronnie's last requests was to take him to the Nickel (Suncrest Pub); hopefully we can turn one up for him following the ceremony. Services have been entrusted to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
