Ronald E. Hershman

Ronald “Ronnie” Hershman, 85, of Morgantown, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center. Ronald was born on October 2, 1936, son of the late Lawrence and Josephine Hershman. Ronald had served in the West Virginia National Guard’s 201st infantry for several years, which included an active deployment during the Berlin Crisis. Ronnie was also a member of the Riverside Apostolic Church, where he attended services. In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Bircher-Hershman, as well as his brother, Wayne Hershman. He is survived by his sister Beverly Schaffer, brother-in-law Phillip Schaffer, and several nieces and nephew. Ronnie had great friends at Chestnut Ridge Apartments where he lived, and his family would like to thank Raffel for everything he and his friends had done for him. Private services for friends and family of Ronnie will be held at Beverly Hills Garden of Tranquility Mausoleum, where he will be entombed with his wife.
