Robert Lee Skipper

Robert Lee Skipper, 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 29th, 2018 in the comfort of his home. Mr. Skipper was born October 15th, 1936 in Fayetteville, NC. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 62 years, Marilyn V. Skipper; two sons, Robert Skipper Jr. and Charles Skipper; two daughters, Carlotta Cawthon and Anita Foster; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members. Robert was predeceased by his son, Harold Skipper; his parents; one brother and one sister. Family and friends will be received at Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, Sunday Sept ember 9th from 2pm until 6pm. Visitation will continue Monday, September 10th from 11am until the time of service at noon with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Burial will follow at WV National Cemetery, Grafton, WV with military honors.
