Robert Lewis Rice

Robert Lewis Rice, born July 12, 1970, passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Robert graduated from University High School in 1988, WVU School of Exercise Physiology in 1994, and WVU School of Pharmacy in 1996. He worked as a Pharmacist for Rite-Aid for 26 years. In his free time, Robert enjoyed golfing, fishing, basketball, snow skiing, vacationing to the beach, and traveling everywhere as much as possible. He also loved spending time with his family and friends, attending WVU football and basketball games, and cruising around in his pride and joy, his red corvette. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Howard and Goldie Rice; maternal grandparents, Lewis and Lois Baugh; and his loving mother, Betty Baugh Rice. He is survived by his father, Robert Calvin Rice; two sisters, Diane Rice and Connie (Michael) Moore; nephew, Caleb (Courtney and daughter Sophia) Moore; niece, Kaitlyn Moore; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM, then again the following morning from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Robert will be laid to rest at Woodsdale Cemetery in Grafton, WV. We kindly ask that anyone attending wear a mask while indoors.
