Robert "Big Bob" Konchesky Robert "Big Bob' Konchesky, 72 of Cheat Road passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. Robert was born December 27, 1939 son of the late Joseph and Anna Konchesky of the Mileground. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1957. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church. He was a carpenter by trade. He built many houses and apartment buildings. He also built and owned the Purple Cow Lounge. Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Jane Konchesky, a daughter Yvonne Wilburn and husband Darwin, sons Andrew and wife Terry, Michael and wife Donna, Thomas and wife Jennifer, Robert Jr and wife Helen, David and wife Nancy all of Morgantown and son John of St. Petersburg, FL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Amber, Kelsey, Kolton, Mikalyn, Andrea, Peyton, Parker, Jake, Ty, and Josie. Two step great grandchildren Tyler and Kiersten. He is also survived by sisters Lucille Fox and Veronica Campbell , brothers Joseph and Leo as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Donald. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 6-8pm with a prayer service at 8pm. Viewing will continue on Saturday at the funeral home from 10am until the time of services at 11am with Fr. Vincent Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawnwood Cemetery.
