Robert Milton Gallagher

Robert Milton Gallagher, age 69, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017. His loving wife, Charlotte Childs Gallagher, survives Bob. Also surviving are Bob’s two children, Sean Gallagher and Reay Lynn Gilmore. Also surviving are his siblings, Jim Gallagher and Becky Johns.

First Sargent Gallagher is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He proudly served our country for 25 years and received several medals, including a Bronze Star.

Family and friends are invited to honor Bob’s homecoming at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 8:00PM and again on Monday from 10:00AM until the time of services.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 24 at 11:00AM at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home in Morgantown with Pastor C.V. Madaus officiating. Interment will follow at WV National Cemetery, Pruntytown, WV, with military rites conducted by the WVANG, Camp Dawson and the Taylor County Honor Guard.
