Robert Jerry Church

Robert Jerry Church, 71, of Rivesville passed away Friday September 17, 2010 at the Monongalia General Hospital. He was born June 5, 1939 in Morgantown son of the late Walter Elmer and Stella Mattie Church. Jerry loved to fish, work on cars but especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren. He was protestant by faith. Jerry is survived by his wife Kathryn Church; children, Cindy Pratt and husband Nathan of Fairmont, Deborah DeVall and husband Douglas of Morgantown, Duane Church, Connie Davis and husband Mike, Diane Church, and Robert Church and wife Debbie all of Janesville, WI, Gary Church of Rivesville, Kenny Sandoval and wife Trisha, Jennifer Sandoval all of Morgantown, Loretta Church of Rivesville and Tom Paul Sandoval of Odenton, MD; brother Gene Davidson of Fairmont; grandchildren, Tia, Samantha, Derrick, Kyle, Kelly Jo, Ashley, Tyler, Travis, Jacob, Jenn, Jo Beth, Michelle, Jeremy, Nicholas, Nicole and Garrett; great grandchildren, Felicia Jo, Wyatt, Hunter, Brandon, Damien and Jaicee. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson Christopher Michael and two sisters, Anne Cortez and Betty Yost. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday September 20, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and again on Tuesday from 10am until time of services at 11am. Honoring Jerry's wishes cremation will follow.
