Richard 'Rick' Hunt

Richard Eric “Rick” Hunt (56) of Morgantown entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. As his spirit left its earthly body, loved ones were with him as he took his final breath.

Born February 3, 1960 to the late Eugene and Lillian Hunt. Rick is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kimberly. Children: Stephani Hunt, Becky Jean Parsons, Richard Hunt II all of Wheeling and Tyler Hunt of Morgantown.

Grandchildren: Taryn Parsons, Liam Murphy and Allie Hunt. All reside in Wheeling

Siblings: Mattie Shinkovich of Morgantown, Jean (Larry) Morgan of Morgantown, Becky (John) England of Westover, Allen Hunt of Morgantown and Jeff Hunt of Westover.

Rick has worked since he was of age. He was a produce manager at the Westover Shop –n- Save, Human Resource/Payroll specialist at Golden Living Center in Morgantown and warehouse clerk at Bells Wholesale.

Rick loved most sports. His favorite teams were Pittsburgh Pirates, WVU Mountaineers and the Dallas Cowboys. The only thing more important than sports to him was his family. He will be remembered for his gentle laughter, generous spirit and especially his ornery character.

Friends may call at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the memorial service to follow. Pastors Gary Blosser and Larry Morgan officiating. Cremation to follow.
