Richard Allen Choma

Richard Allen Choma, 75, of Morgantown passed away Friday June 3, 2011. He was born February 15, 1936 in Morgantown a son to the late Steve and Margaret Dewitt Choma. Richard was a veteran on the U.S. Air Force. He worked many years as a respiratory therapist at Fairmont General Hospital. Richard was a member of the Reformation Orthodox Presbyterian Church. His many hobbies included fishing and hunting. He also was a great musician having played lead guitar in multiple bands around the area. He and his wife Linda were known to the area as Mountain Memories. He loved his dogs and was also a HAM Radio Operator. He is survived by his wife Linda Choma of Morgantown; two sons Richard K. Choma and wife Deborah of Indiana and Jeffrey S. Choma and wife Erica of Dilliner, PA; and one daughter Dayna Sullenberger and husband Bryan of Point Marion, PA. Richard is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday June 6, 2011 from 7-9pm and again on Tuesday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Rev. Jonathan Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
