Rev. Mary Elizabeth Morgan, 79, of Morgantown, passed away Monday May 14, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 11, 1932 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Ward Hamilton and Bertha Clara Hall Tracy. She was a lifetime member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church. She was interim pastor for 3 years before becoming the full time pastor for the past 23 years. Rev. Morgan was also a member of the Missionary Society at Mount Hermon Baptist Church. She was the first female Moderator of the Youghiogheny Western Baptist Association. Mary loved making silk flower arrangements and gardening. She is survived by her husband Rev. Charles Morgan; son Robert Chip' Williams of Morgantown; brother Gilbert Hamilton and wife Cheryl of Gulfport, MS; sisters Bertha BJ' Pryor of Morgantown, Jessie Hazel Younger and husband Gail of Tampa, FL; her best friend Joan Blue of Morgantown; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday May 18, 2012 from 7-9pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of funeral services at 11am with Rev. William Nichols and Rev.
