Rebecca Lynn Lynch Williams

Lynn Williams, 49, left this world to join the Lord and her heavenly family on October 4, 2016. She passed away at home in the company of family and friends whom she cherished. Lynn was born in Elkins, W.Va., graduated from Elkins High School and attended West Virginia University where she had been a proud member of the WVU Marching Band. She was employed by the WVU School of Law.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, William F. “Bill” Williams and is survived by her mother, Donna Jean Williams, son, Collin Williams and her sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Doug Smith of Virginia Beach. She has left behind an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who she loved as family.

She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend and her greatest loves were her family, animals and music.

At the family’s request the Memorial Service will be private. In Lynn’s memory, memorial contributions can be made to the Monongalia County Humane Society, PO Box 390, Morgantown, W.Va. 26507
