Rebecca Sue Dalton Rowan,

49, of Mountain View School Rd., passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at her home.

The daughter of Terry “Duke” Dalton of Morgantown and the late Arlene Uphold Dalton, she was born December 28, 1966, in Morgantown.

Becky was employed at West Virginia University. She enjoyed music and dancing and especially enjoyed the 501 Band, whom she thought of as family. Becky loved decorating and celebrating every holiday. Becky loved her family and her cat Jackson. Her grandkids were her pride and joy.

In addition to her father, Becky is survived by her husband, Larry Rowan; three daughters: Kim Richards, Cassandra Posey, and Rachel Posey all of Morgantown; step children: Larry Rowan II and Tabatha Coombs of Morgantown; grandchildren: Brianna Richards, Bubby Richards, Noah Johnson, Orval Finneyfrock, Luke Johnson; two sisters, Lora Blosser and Laticia “Muffy” West; two brothers, James “Jed” Dalton and Ray “Firecracker” Dalton; several nieces and nephews; and friends, Tammy and Carl Pase and Carolyn Morris.

Family and friends may call at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2 p.m with Donna Dalton officiating. Burial will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
