Rebecca Dawn Bennett

Rebecca Dawn Becky' Bennett, 40 of Morgantown passed away Monday July 5, 2010 at the Monongalia General Hospital following an extended illness. She was born October 2, 1969 in Waynesburg, PA daughter of Betty Bennett of Morgantown. Becky worked most recently for Ray's Pastries as a cake decorator. She had many hobbies but cooking and baking for her family and friends was her passion. Anyone you as would tell you, she was the matriarch of the family. Becky was Pentecostal by faith. In addition to her mother she is survived by her fiancé Jimmy Whitehead of Morgantown; daughter Sierra and husband Wesley Groves of Morgantown; sisters, Carolyn Goodwin and companion Ronnie Donaldson of Morgantown, Dianne Bennett of Fairmont; brother Randy and wife Tabitha Bennett of Spraggs, PA; her best friend of 30 years Toni McCuskey of Morgantown; friend Rebecca Johnson; grandson Joshua Groves; two nephews; two nieces and one great niece. Becky was loved by many aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by one sister Regina Bennett; her grandmother Carolyn Bennett, and two uncles Elmer Bennett and Ernest Bennett Cremation was provided by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held 12 noon on Saturday July 17, 2010 at the Westover Community Building with fellowship to follow.
