May 2, 1931 — August 11, 2019

Raymond Dalton, 88 of Mountainview Road, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at the home of his daughter Susan, surrounded by his family. Raymond was born in Morgantown, son of Johnathan and Edith Hart Dalton, on May 2, 1931. Raymond was a simple man with simple needs. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home and started his lumber business, US Lumber Company. He continued as owner-operator until his retirement in 2003.

He is survived by his three daughters and their husbands, Deborah & Darrell Dalton, Susan & Donald "Pork" Hilling, and Lisa & James Hilling; four grandchildren Justin Dalton, Tad Dalton, Dalton Hilling & Lexi Hilling; two sisters Audrey "Sis" McMillen & Laurie Lewis all of Morgantown.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Garnet Summers Dalton & grandson Aaron Hilling.
