Peter Woodring

Peter “Andy” Woodring, age 65, of Morgantown, WV, formerly of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. Born on a rare leap day—February 29, 1960—Andy brought a unique spark and joy to everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer, and their three sons: Dylan, Cody, and Tyler. Andy was the cherished son of Jim Woodring and the late Maryanne Browne Woodring. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: Johnathan and Chris Woodring, Ginny Moyer, Juji Newswanger, Debbie Gish, and Sarah and Ruth Woodring.

Andy was an avid walker who loved spending time outdoors, whether grilling, gardening, or exploring the trails of West Virginia his spirit was as boundless as the open paths he wandered. A passionate Hot Wheels collector, Andy’s vibrant collection reflected his keen eye for detail and his deep love of nostalgia.

Andy’s warmth, humor, and vibrant personality will be deeply missed but forever treasured by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
