Patricia "Patty" Ann Thomas

Patricia Ann (Maxwell) Thomas, 79, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born August 12, 1937 to the late Orse Burl Maxwell and Mary Theresa (Sulick) Maxwell.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Roberta and spouse David Jones; sons, John L. Thomas Jr., David Thomas, Daniel Thomas; six grandchildren, Shawn Thomas, Megan Thomas, Rachel Thomas, Daniel Thomas II, Genna Jones, and Jolie Jones; ten great-grandchildren, Torie Thomas, Avery Thomas, Tyler Jordan, Tessa Campbell, Jacie Thomas-Stevens, Noah Rodriguez, Logan Stevens, Karson Rodriguez, Kaitlyn Stevens, Kylo Thomas, and Cam Thomas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Thomas and daughter-in-law, Sharon Yangtz Thomas.

Patty was a loving and giving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved WVU sports, enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, and playing bingo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.

Family and friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday, April 28, 2017 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm.
