Patricia Ramona (Johnson) Stewart, age 65, of Dilliner, PA, passed away on October 29, 2025, in her home. She was born on July 16, 1960, in Morgantown, WV, the daughter of Edgar Lee and Nancy Ramona (McRobie) Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillie Charlene and Debra Ellen Johnson, and her brother, Charles Brooks Johnson.
For more than 30 years, Patty was dedicated to caring for others, working with special needs children and adults through Intermediate Unit 1, ARC of Fayette, Family Ties, and Maxim Health Care. Her compassion, patience, and kindness touched countless lives and left a lasting mark on everyone she met.
Known for her free spirit and fun-loving nature, Patty had a way of making everyone feel like family. Once you were a part of her family, you were always her family. She was the life of every gathering-quick to laugh, with a contagious smile, and always ready to turn an ordinary day into a celebration. She cherished her friends and the many friendships she made along the way.
Above all, Patty was deeply loved and devoted to her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time them and with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her three brothers Edgar, Darrell and John Johnson. Her loving children, Josephine (Jim) Conaway, Misty Mason, Theresa (Horacio) Garcia, as well as her nephew Justin Kite and niece Nicole Johnson, whom she lovingly raised as her own.
Her beloved grandchildren, James (Leila) Conaway, Jessica Conaway, Jaylon Hill, Izzy (Jacklyn) Garcia, Aidan, Kassandra and Bianca Garcia and Bryson, Braelynn, and Kane Kite.
Her Stepchildren; Heather, Norma, William and Shannon, and Nan to Franky, Mikey, Joey, Grace, Bradley, Bailey, Paige, Dominic, Anthony and Matthew. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved very dearly and that held a very special place in her heart.
Patty's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her laughter, kindness, and joyful spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched. She taught everyone around her the value of caring deeply, living freely, and loving unconditionally. Her legacy of compassion and joy will remain an inspiration and a cherished memory to all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1pm - 5pm and again on Sunday from 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Shawn Frasher officiating. Honoring Patty's wishes cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home 10 S. High Street Morgantown, WV 26501, are welcome in Patty's memory.
