Paskel Eugene Mayfield

Paskel Eugene Dickie' Mayfield, III, 42, of Maidsville, WV passed away on Friday May 23, 2014 at the Greenery Specialty Care Clinic in Canonsburg, PA following a lengthy illness. Dickie was born September 23, 1971 in Morgantown a son to the late Paskel E. Mayfield, Jr. Dickie was most recently employed by Davis Kitchen and Tile, Co., until his health would no longer permit. Dickie loved sports and was active in his early years on several softball teams in the Morgantown area. Dickie is survived by his two aunts, Sharon Mayfield of Maidsville and Bonnie Sasser and husband Edward of Columbus, GA; daughter Courtney Hansen of Charlotte, NC; two cousins, Alexis Mayfield of Maidsville and Paula Fenney of Columbus, GA; and many friends. In addition to his father, Dickie was preceded in death by the Aunt and Uncle who raised him Jackie and Bob Eddy. Honoring Dickie's wishes, cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
